Hardwood
Flooring Disclaimer
All
of our products are produced from real, naturally solid, wood.
The
hardwood flooring images accessible, both on-line and in printed, are intended
as a guide only. The stain colors displayed on our product imagery are accurate
but due to the limitations of printers, scanners, computer monitors and other
equipment, the colors seen on these images may not be accurately reproduced on
the product specified.
Wood is a natural product; therefore, each piece has a unique color and
appearance with every floor installed having its own distinctive visual
character. We strongly recommend all customers visit our showroom or order a
color and species sample of their choice.
Samples
and photographic reproductions can give an example of a particular wood floor’s
appearance but they may not be representative of the full range of color,
texture and grain variations which can occur within the product itself.
A color sample may vary depending on stain batches produced; although we do
strive to ensure the colors are as accurate as possible but exact color match
can not be guaranteed.
It
is impossible to fill all knots completely flat or flush with the board;
therefore, a dipping effect may be present. This would not be considered a
factory defect as the Industry Standard for Product Quality allows variation of
up to 5% max. The installer and owner should work together to inspect product
prior to installation. Any imperfect pieces should be used in hidden areas, cut
off or not installed.
We
strongly recommend that the floor be properly maintained in order for your
flooring to retain its natural beauty and finish.
